Kittery ME dispatch will be switching to 156.000 PL 192.8

Listeners report again hearing the Lakes Region Fire link on 456.475 PL 118.8 at much greater strength - This links traffic from Lakes Region channel 1 159.900 and is located on Mount Tecumseh in town of Waterville Valley

Keene Fire Dispatch is now on Tac-6 159.450 (136.5)

    Newmarket Fire "Dispatch" is now on 155.0850   (136.5) - Two-tone tone-out tones of 582.1 1046.8

    FEBRUARY 2008
Frisbee EMS Rochester is now dispatched on 151.235 (103.5)

    JANUARY 2008
Wilton-Lyndeborough-Temple EMS based in Wilton, NH currently covers the Towns of Wilton, Lyndeborough and Temple with dispatch from two different dispatch centers. Wilton calls are dispatched by MACC Base in Milford on 155.100 as 30A1 or 30A2, Lyndeborough calls are dispatched by KMA SWNH on 154.43 as 82A1 and 82A2 and Temple calls are dispatched also by SWNH on 154.43 as 50A1 and 50A2.  When the ambulance is toned to Wilton calls, they come up on the SWNH frequency to advise that they are on a call to Wilton, and visa versa when they go to Lyndeborough or Temple they go up on the MACC Base Frequency and tell them the same.  This is to avoid both dispatch centers trying to send out the same rig.

This came about because the towns of Lyndeborough and Temple use SWNH for their Fire Dispatch and wanted the Ambulance on the same frequency, while Wilton is a member of MACC Base and continues to use them for all departments.

North Andover FD has re-banded now operating on 852.600 DPL 226

    ¿Questions to Statewide?

Q: I hear you guys put out some jobs on the scanner that you don't put out on my pager. How come? A: Statewide is a radio based notification group, we have no affiliation with paging groups.

Q: Can I get a copy or permission to use a photo that appears on the Statewide site? A: The photos that appear on the Statewide site are copyrighted properties of the photographers listed with the photographs. You may e-mail the statewidewebmaster at and he in turn with forward your requested to the photographer. Since the Statewide mailbox is not read everyday and the photographer may not in turn read their e-mail everyday, this process may take several days. If you're on a deadline, plan for a delay.

Q: Can I get the police audio for a call to 911 Elm Street in Woodsville on Apr 31, 2003?
A: Contact your local police dispatch center for that information. Statewide only has access to what is recorded by our members. We present nearly everything we have recorded either on the homepage or the archives. If you don't see it listed, we don't have it.

Q: Why don't you print entire news stories, rather than just one or two lines?
A: Doctrine of Fair Use, Federal Copyright Laws allows for only a small portion of the article to be used without direct permission. By showing a headline and a couple of lines of the body of the story, and then providing a direct link to the article, we are within "fair use" limits.
I base this on the considerable experience in copyright issues as it relates to journalism, broadcast, print and new media. These laws not only pertain to websites, and newsletters, but also to e-mails/group lists, and audio/video as well.

DEC 2007 - BATH NH - New Old Engine On Dec. 10, the Bath Fire Department took delivery of a 1979 Ford F700 pumper fire truck, rounding off their assemblage of one engine and two tankers. They paid just $2,500 for the vehicle which has a mere 5,000 miles on it.

The pumper truck was previously owned by the Boylston MA Fire Department. The plan is to keep the pumper truck on the west side of the Ammonoosuc River. With the weight limit restrictions placed on the Bath Covered Bridge, it is imperative to have an emergency vehicle that can be on the ready on the west side of the River.
