12-13-08: 0615 Lebanon Fire received a report of a fire in an apartment building on Main Street in West Lebanon. A 1st alarm was struck for Box 21. Engine 2 with a crew of 2 arrived on scene, 1 block from Station 2, with heavy fire showing from a 3 story wood frame tax payer type building. A 2nd alarm was struck. Crews operated from the exterior initially. A total of 8 master streams in operation, 3 of which were elevated streams. Interior searches were preformed as soon as possible, all of which were negative. Fire was under control in approximately 3 hours. Temperature at time of fire was 5 degrees. Units operated until around 1700. Multiple mutual aid units operated at the scene and cover assignments handled other calls in the city.
