Pierce Contender on an International 4400 series chassis, with a stainless steel body. It has a 1250 gpm pump and a 1250 gal poly tank. A Harrison 6kw hydraulic generator, pre-piped deluge gun, 30 gal “class A” foam cell.

April 2007 - Bedford VT
The Bedford Fire Department outfitted each of its ambulances with new equipment after a nearly $4,000 donation from GMAC-Carlson real estate company. Two bone drills and continuous positive airway pressure devices were bought with the funds.

New Engine 3 according to Chief Charles Stinson. The new truck, was purchased in part by a Rural Development Grant.

It replaces the department's Engine 2, a 1975 International. A second new truck will join the Stratford fleet sometime this year, a 3000 gallon tanker to be purchased with a grant from FEMA.
