Durham Fire Department marks 100th year Monday
DURHAM NH-- Officials will be joining together on Monday March 14 to celebrate 100 years of fighting fires. At 10 a.m., Durham Fire Chief Corey Landry and fellow firefighters will be the site of the original fire station at 60 Main St. to present a plaque and tell a short history of the department. Jenkins Court will be closed from 9 a.m. to about 10:45 a.m. during the ceremony and then will be reopened. Main Street will be one lane during the same time to allow the department to park vehicles near the 60 Main St. building.
