A/C/W = All Companies Working (Not a Working Fire if on initial dispatch))
Fire is present, but does not require response beyond the initial apparatus dispatch
Example A room fire with contents on fire but not extending to floor, ceiling, or walls.

If you hear the term All Companies Working after a Working Fire or Multiple Alarm has been announced, it means that all units/personnel dispatched are engaged in firefighting/incident activities
Sometimes referred to as All Hands or All Hands Working

W/F = Working Fire - Fire is consuming the structure

Mut/Aid or M/A = Mutual Aid Assistance from neighboring departments are responding either to provide station coverage or respond to the scene/staging area

O/M/D = Occupied Multi-occupancy Dwelling (Apartment)

1.5 or 11/2 Story Wood Frame = Two and a half Story Wood Frame house/building
As opposed to a balloon style construction found in very old homes or
A brick or masonry construction

Doubtful Will Hold or Doubtful (DWH) = It is Doubtful that the fire will
be contained with present assignment of apparatus and manpower at scene

Probable Will Hold or Probable (PWH) = It is Probable that the fire will
be contained with present assignment of apparatus and manpower at scene

Injury status equivalents (Buff 10-45 Codes vs NH Status)
Code Gray / 10-26 / Code 10 / Signal 21 / 4-500 == 10-45-c1 (FATAL)

(Medical) Status 1 == 10-45-c2+ (Immediate threat to life or limb)

(Medical) Status 2 == 10-45-c2 (Possible threat to life or limb)

(Medical) Status 3 == 10-45-c3 (No threat to life or limb)

(Medical) Status 4 == not reported (Patient sign off)
