BATH NH - New Old Engine On Dec. 10, the Bath Fire Department took delivery of a 1979 Ford F700 pumper fire truck, rounding off their assemblage of one engine and two tankers. They paid just $2,500 for the vehicle which has a mere 5,000 miles on it.
The pumper truck was previously owned by the Boylston MA Fire Department. The plan is to keep the pumper truck on the west side of the Ammonoosuc River. With the weight limit restrictions placed on the Bath Covered Bridge, it is imperative to have an emergency vehicle that can be on the ready on the west side of the River. NOV 2007 -
